HARD TIMES
Today's reading: Hosea 1-7

"But I will fence her in with thornbushes. I will block the road to make her lose her way." Hosea 2:6 NLT

Probably my favorite verse in all of Hosea.

Proof positive that God's love for us chases, woos and wants to wrap us entirely in it.

Factual evidence that praying God's presence into someone's life will indeed be at times uncomfortable, inconvenient and awkward--but worth it.

Hosea's wife wandered. We wander. Hosea's wife wanted to go her own way. We want
the same. Hosea's wife became a testimony recorded for history to learn and be encouraged from. Ours can too, if we're not fighting the thornbushes and roadblocks!
