WINNING OVER YOUR ENEMIES

Today's reading: Esther 6-10

"In every city and province, wherever the king's decree arrives, the Jews rejoiced and had a great celebration and declared a public festival and holiday. And many of the people of the land became Jews themselves, for they feared what the Jews might do to them." Esther 8:16-17 NLT

Is how you live winning anyone over to the Lord's side?

Oh, I'm not talking merely about your Sunday-self, I'm asking about your Monday through Saturday interactions with the world around you.

The Jews in Esther's time were fighting for their lives against their enemies. A death warrant had been placed upon them and God's intervention allowed Esther to step in, for such a time as this, and present the king with an edict that would allow them to protect themselves.

It's how they reacted to God's provision that won people over to their Lord.
