TAKING SOME EFFORT
Today's reading:  Numbers 25-28

"One day the Lord said to Moses, Climb to the top of the mountains east of the river, and look out over the land I have given the people of Israel."  Numbers 27:12 NLT

Moses' patience had been tested.  His arms and heart wearied.  His mission questioned.  He had obeyed.  He had led.  He had carried tablets of stone.

And now?

Now God asks him to put forth a little more effort and climb a mountain?

He's asking us to do the same.

When we think we've done all we can do, all we're supposed to do--He asks us to make an effort to see His will and purpose for our lives.

He asks us to believe Him one more day.  To put our noses in the Word another time.  He draws us into His presence again--and requires a little effort on our part to receive all He's got for us.

It's worth it, isn't it?
