WANTING WHAT I HAVE

Today's reading: Romans 11-12

"I am saying all of this especially for you Gentiles, God has appointed me as the apostle to the Gentiles. I lay great stress on this, for I want to find a way to make the Jews want what you Gentiles have, and in that way I might save some of them." Romans 11:13-14 NLT

I'm not a Bible scholar, by a long shot--but could it be...

These two verses sum up our goal/purpose/challenge/charge in regards to evangelism?

To live lives that make others want what we have--

To want the Jesus who has saved us.

To desire the Holy Spirit who guides us.

To seek out the God of our hearts, minds and souls.

Friends, if we aren't living in such a way that on occasion we're hearing, I want what you have, are we living as God ordained?

Is our hope evident? Is our peace obvious? Is our love noticeable? Is our servant heart apparent? Is godliness seen? Is humility observed? Is meekness visible? Is forgiveness conspicuous in our relationships?

Are we living godly lives in a way that make others want what we have?
