ALL THESE THOUGHTS

Today's reading: Psalm 102-104

"May he be pleased by all these thoughts about him, for I rejoice in the Lord." Psalm 104:34 NLT

Google tells me on average people have between 6,000 and 70,000 thoughts per day and Healthline.com says most Americans process at least 6.5 thought transactions per minute.

That's a whole lot of thinking!

And thinking about thinking has got me to thinking--

Can I, like the psalmist, believe God is pleased with all my thoughts?

Is everything I've considered throughout the past 24 hours honoring to Him?

Do the things I've pondered point to how capable and trustworthy I believe He is?

Are all the things I analyze, contemplate and deliberate fueling my faith--or feeding my fears?

My goal for today, and maybe you would want to join me, is to think about what I think about.
