A LAZY PERSON'S VINEYARD

Today's reading: Proverbs 23-24

"I walked by the field of a lazy person, the vineyard of one lacking sense. I saw that it was overgrown with thorns. It was covered with weeds, and its walls were broken down. Then, as I looked and thought about it, I learned this lesson: A little extra sleep, a little more slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest--and poverty will pounce on you like a bandit; scarcity will attack you like an armed robber." Proverbs 24:30-34 NLT

What happens when laziness overrides our lives?

1. Our reputation is reduced in value.

2. Our responsibilities show we have little value for them.

3. We are robbed of the blessings we have and attaining more blessings.

Sound like something you want to happen to your life?

I didn't think so!

So what do we do?

We do something.

We don't/can't do everything, but we can do something every, single day to progress towards accomplishing a lot.

It will take effort.

It will take determination.

It will take pushing aside laziness and putting in its place a desire to honor God in all we do!
