WE WIN
Today's reading:  Daniel 7-12

An old preacher used to say, 'Just look at the end of the Book (Revelations)..you will find out we win!'

But I can 'one up' him...because it's listed in the middle of the Bible, too!  Right here in Daniel.

 "But in the end, the holy people of the Most High will be given the kingdom, and they will rule forever and ever." Daniel 7:18 NLT

That's encouraging to know in the midst of tough times, hard battles and raging storms. Amidst religious animosity and government led bullying, being on the Christian side of things is not the safest or most popular place to be.  It gives us a little more gumption for the fight.  A little more intestinal grit.  A little more determination.  A reminder of what it is we're fighting for!
