CALLING ON THE LORD
Today's reading: Psalm 18-20
"I will call on the Lord, who is worthy of praise, for he saves me from my enemies." Psalm 18:3 NLT
If I were to choose a life verse, it might be this one.
A cheer.
A constant reminder.
A mantra of sorts.
To call on the Lord is an act of wisdom. A gesture of faith. A feat of godliness.
But it will also be a complete 180 from my usual decision-making practices...
-When I attempt to muster my resources.
-When I strive to pull myself up by my bootstraps.
-When I try to gather my strengths and muscle my way through the situations at hand.
I will call on the Lord.
This single choice, to call on the Lord, will bless, benefit and favor me all the days of my life.
