STILL RULES
Today's reading: Psalm 9-11
"But the Lord is in his holy Temple; the Lord still rules from heaven. He watches everything closely, examining everyone on earth." Psalm 11:4 NLT
The news reports war, violence, disease and unrest.
The world is full of chaos, distress, seemingly dominated by dark powers.
The circumstances around you reek of decay, deception, disappointment.
But the Lord?
The Lord still rules from heaven!
Nothing, absolutely nothing, goes on without His notice, without His purpose, without His being able to turn things around and use it for the good.
Our God has not been defeated, disarmed or dismissed from the goings-on of this world...this world He created, maintains and rules over!
