STANDING HERE QUIETLY

"Now stand here quietly before the Lord as I remind you of all the great things the Lord has done for you and your ancestors." 1 Samuel 12:7 NLT
How often do you pause in your day to consider all the blessings God has poured into your life?
For most of us, it's not often enough.
It's a practice that we, as Americans, tend to save for the Thanksgiving season--or maybe, if we're truly focused, the whole month of November.
But shouldn't quiet amazement for God and all He has done be a part of our every day?
--In thanks for what the day before brought us through.
--In appreciation for all He has provided us.
--In gratitude for His promises to never leave or forsake us.
In this fast paced, planner filled, running from one appointment to the next, world we live in, let's stand quietly today and be reminded of all the great things the Lord has done for us.
