GIVE ME REASON
Today's reading:  Psalm 143-145

"Cause me to hear your lovingkindness in the morning, for in you I trust.  Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift my soul up to you."  Psalm 143:8 NKJV

"Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you.  Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you."  Psalm 143:8 NLT

I'm a hard-headed gal.

God knows that.  Boy, oh boy, does He know that.

You also know, I usually steer away from King James Version, due to my allergy to it--it tends to make my tongue swell, my head spin and my thoughts scatter like sheets in the wind.

But this morning?  This morning, the King James Version has caught my eye.  It spoke to my hard head...

God has to get my attention some days, He 'causes' me to see things differently.  He places things, unmovable things, in my path.  He knocks the pedestal out from under me.  He places me flat on my back with no where to look but up.  He puts people and happenings in my day that 'cause' me to seek Him.

He doesn't just 'let me hear' or lovingly 'shows me where to walk'...no, He has to 'cause' me to experience Him!

Maybe you're a lot like me.
