LIFE GOALS

Today's reading: 2 Corinthians 9-10

"...Our goal is to stay within the boundaries of God's plan for us..." 2 Corinthians 10:13 NLT

There are a whole lot of valedictorians across the nation  polishing up the speeches they will give at their respective graduation ceremonies.

They want to be witty. They want to be straight forward. They want to give speeches that will be remembered and that will honor their memory for years to come.

They want to inspire. They hope to guide. They will fill their listeners' ears with encouraging words.

None more encouraging and success-building than the words in today's Scripture.

Shouldn't it be our goal, each and every one of us, to live inside the boundaries God has planned for us.

Not to push the envelope and venture outside of His will.

Not to end our lives having come short of achieving all He has for us in this life.

But to be in the center of His will and plan for who He created us to be, those He purposed us to reach for Him and honoring Him all along the way.

It's a goal for us all, no matter how long ago we walked across a stage wearing a graduation cap and gown.
