RETURN
Today's reading: 2 Chronicles 28-30

"At the king's command, messengers were sent throughout Israel and Judah. They carried the king's letter which said: O people of Israel, return to the Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, so that he will return to the few of us who have survived the conquest of the Assyrian kings." 2 Chronicles 30:6 NLT

Return-to go back or come back again, to bring, send or put back to a former or proper place.

With each and every choice I make I am either returning to the Lord or taking one step farther away from Him.

Every choice.

Each decision.

I am choosing between drawing closer to Him or pushing Him away.

I am selecting to either prosper or to flail.

I am fighting against what I was created to do or serving my own sinful nature.

You are making those choices, too.

Will today be the day we return to Him?
