COMMON
Today's reading: Proverbs 21-23

"The rich and poor have this in common: The Lord made them both." Proverbs 22:2 NLT

Common-belonging to or shared by two or more individuals or things or by all members of a group.

We see what we want to see when we look at others.

It might be what they're wearing.

It might be how they are groomed.

It might be based upon the language they use.

The tone they take.

The demands they make.

But do we look deeper? Do we ask God to help us see them as He sees them? Do we take the time to see the commonalities we share, even in the ones with whom we would just as soon not associate with?

Rich or poor.

Nice or mean.

Young or old.

Saved or not--yet.

Ask God to allow you to put on His set of glasses, to have a new view, to be able to see a person's heart.
