AND GOD CONTINUED
Today's reading: Exodus 5-8
"And God continued, I am the Lord." Exodus 6:2 NLT
As Moses stood before Him wringing his hands in dismay...
As the Israelites scurried about attempting to find the straw needed to meet their quota of bricks...
As the Hebrew people remained in captivity, slavery and bondage...
God continued--in His way, in His time, in His truth--
And said, simply...
I am the Lord.
Nothing Moses could bring before Him was too big for Him to handle.
Nothing the Israelites could tell Him was news to Him.
Nothing an enemy king could do would tie His hands.
God continued, I am the Lord.
I don't know about you, but there are so many areas of my life that need those words spoken over them.
In my heartache--God continued, I am the Lord!
In my doubts and questioning--God continued, I am the Lord!
In my fears--God continued, I am the Lord!
In all the impending, over-the-top ministry opportunities He is asking me to team up with Him on--God continued, I am the Lord!
Nothing, and no one, can stop God. He continues. He remains. He is, was and will be.
