IT'S OUR CHOICE
Today's reading:  Psalm 66-68

"Arise, O God, and scatter your enemies.  Let those who hate God run for their lives.  Drive them off like smoke blown by the wind.  Melt them like wax in fire.  Let the wicked perish in the presence of God.  But let the godly rejoice.  Let them be glad in God's presence.  Let them be filled with joy."  Psalm 66:1-3 NLT

Today's grammar lesson:  the word 'but'.  'But' is a conjunction used to signify a negation, to create contrast.

Christian brothers and sisters, if we're not creating contrast in our world--we're not living right.

Jesus stood out.

Christian martyrs stood out.

The 'stars' of the Bible stood out.

And us?

Are we acting differently than those we work with, work around, work to win for Christ?

Are we parenting differently?  Are we proving to our employers that we're different?  Are the sales clerks where we spend our money seeing a difference in us versus other customers?

We're placed on this earth to create a contrast...are we doing it?
