INTIMIDATED
Today's reading: Philippians 1-4

"Don't be intimidated by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved, even by God himself." Philippians 1:28 NLT

Intimidated-to be made fearful or timid; to be made afraid; to have been frightened.

When the shadows of your long night grow.

When the enemy prowling around you growls in a low, guttural way.

When the storm rages longer and the waves go higher.

When the giants loom above you.

Don't be afraid.

That's what Paul tells us--don't be afraid.

Don't allow our enemies, our tough times, our long nights, our giants, to intimidate us.

When we don't allow it, their power is taken.

Beat the bully by realizing who he is and not allowing him to scare you any longer.

Then watch him begin to crumble. To cower. To fade. To slink away into the shadows from which he came.

Friend, don't be intimidated by them!
