CONTINUED
Today's reading: Judges 7-9

"Gideon then crossed the Jordan River with his three hundred men, and though they were exhausted, they continued to chase the enemy." Judges 8:4 NLT

Continue-to maintain without interruption a condition, course or action; to remain in a place or condition; to resume an activity after an interruption.

It tells us clearly that Gideon and his men were wiped out.

They were plumb tuckered.

But they continued on to completely wipe out the Midianite army...every last soldier.

Not because it was easy.

Because it was what God asked of them.

They went to great extremes-mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually- to complete their assignment.

No excuses.

No vacations.

No cop-outs.

No alleged justifications as to why they could stop.

It's what we must do with our Christian walks.

We have to continue.

To maintain. To remain engaged. To get up and go again and again, and again and again.

Continue, Christian friend--it's what He has asked us to do!
