GIVING
Today's reading: 2 Chronicles 33-36
"Then Josiah contributed from his personal property thirty thousand lambs and young goats for the people's Passover offerings, and three thousand bulls." 2 Chronicles 35:7 NLT
What have you done lately to pour into another's Christian walk?
Really pour into it.
Not just acknowledge it...
Or offer the obligatory, 'I'll be praying for you'...
Or even the Sunday smile you throw their way as you glance down the pew...
What are you doing to pour into their walk with the Lord?
Josiah gave--and gave a lot in order that the people of his day could experience the full worship experience.
Thirty thousand lamb and goats? Three thousand bulls?
That's not a mere 'coin thrown in the Salvation Army's red kettle'!
That's an investment into another's walk with God.
That's an outlay of expenses with the hope of a return of goods on a heavenly stage.
That's a stake in the eternity of another.
That's a financing, of sorts, of another's relationship with the Lord.
So back to my question: What have you done lately to pour into another's Christian walk?
