ACCEPTABLE

Today's reading: Acts 9-10

"The voice spoke again, If God says something is acceptable, don't say it isn't." Acts 10:15 NLT

The voice speaking to Peter that day on the rooftop prepared him for the mission he would be called to participate in.

His mission was to tell the Good News to people who were not like him...

People who didn't have the same background as he did...

People who were not considered to be his equals in any way, shape or form...

People who folks like Peter spent their entire lives attempting to veer away from...

Maybe, just maybe, you have some people like that in your life.

People you have written off...

People who you consider to be too far gone...

People you couldn't possibly talk to...

People you might consider beneath you--or too fancy for the likes of you...

God says Jesus came for the whole world. The. Whole. World.

No one is exempt from His love. No one is beyond His saving graces. No one has fallen outside of the boundaries of His mercy.

So, it's our job to tell them. All of them. Every single one of them. No matter who they are. Through the blood of Christ, we're all acceptable!
