THE GUIDANCE OF GOD'S WORD

Today's reading: Proverbs 5-6

"Wherever you walk, their counsel can lead you. When you sleep, they will protect you. When you wake up in the morning, they will advise you." Proverbs 6:22 NLT

If you're anything like me, your day isn't filled with choices needing to be made in regards to what is good or bad, but rather a matter of choosing between what is good, what is better and what is best.  

-What's the best use of my time and talents?

-Where's the most important place to invest my skills?

-How might I most wisely spend the money He has given me?

-Which hours of the day need set apart for God--and God alone?

I have to be willing to turn to God's Word for His counsel in all the decisions I am called upon to make throughout the day.

I want to honor Him in all I say, 'Yes', to.

I can only do that when He leads and I follow.

And He tells us, over and over again, that He does it through His Word!
