ANY NATION

Today's reading: Jeremiah 12-16

"But any nation who refuses to obey me will be uprooted and destroyed. I, the Lord, have spoken!" Jeremiah 12:17 NLT

I have to believe that when God says, ANY, He really and truly means ANY.

Any nation that refuses to obey me will be uprooted and destroyed.

That excludes no nation and that covers any nation.

He doesn't just say any middle eastern nation.

He doesn't exempt poor nations.

He doesn't give special allowances for nations which were hard fought for, speak the English language or have a history of godliness in their founding fathers.

Any nation, the United States of America included, who refuses to obey God will be uprooted and destroyed.

Oh, that our nation would turn completely to the Lord before He follows through on His promise.
