NO OBSTACLES

Today's reading: Romans 13-14

"...Decide instead to live in such a way that you will not put an obstacle in another Christian's path." Romans 14:13 NLT

Mr. Fred Rogers has been quoted as saying...

“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.”

Isn't that what our Scripture passage says...Look for those who are building Christ up, and come alongside them.

Are you working with, or against, your brother and sister in Christ? This mission field we're on is not a place for competition.

Are you both on the same team when it comes to preaching the Good News to the world? Denomination shouldn't matter when it comes to proclaiming that, Jesus saves!

Are you in agreement with them that we should all do what it takes to save as many as we can from an eternal hell? We, as His, have one goal--save those who are lost.

My suggestion...

Look for the Christians. You will always find them. Anywhere you go, they will be there.

Watch for opportunities to come alongside another child of God in loving the world, proclaiming His name and being like Jesus!
