LIFE AND LIGHT

Today's reading: Psalm 36-38

"For you are the fountain of life, the light by which we see." Psalm 36:9 NLT

Life and light, the two gifts God gives us.

Life--true life, not just living. Not just being. Not just breathing. But life in all its abundance.

Sight--seeing things for what they truly are. Not just vision, but discernment. Not just being able to notice things, but being able to look deeply into the eternity of the matters at hand.

Only through God do we have both gifts.

Only by way of God can we pass these gifts on to another.
