TELL THEM THIS

Today's reading: Isaiah 12-17

"What should we tell the enemy messengers? Tell them that the Lord has built Jerusalem, and that the poor of his people will find refuge in its walls." Isaiah 14:32 NLT

I can't be the only one to whom my enemy whispers choruses of doubt, promptings of temptations and inuendos of hopelessness. 

In dark times he speaks darkness over my soul. On cloudless days he attempts intimidation and fear-mongering. He distracts. He discourages. He lies.

So what do we do when it happens?

It's as simple as telling him what God has done and promises to do!

Our enemy needs the reminder.

Our hearts do, too.

You, above all else, know what God has done for you. Speak it!

You have seen with your own eyes what God's Word reveals of His power and majesty throughout the ages. Speak it!

You have watched God come through on numerous occasions in the lives of friends and family members. Speak it!

Tell them.

Tell the enemy messengers, when they attempt to cloud your mind, the greatness of your God!
