 POSITION

Today's reading: Mark 11-12

"Main in the crowd spread their coats on the road ahead of Jesus, and others cut leafy branches in the fields and spread them along the way. He was in the center of the procession, and the crowds all around him were shouting, Praise God!.." Mark 11:8-9 NLT

We know the account. We are reminded of it each Palm Sunday. We are always in awe of this crowd's determination to praise. Their demonstrative worship. Their creative way they brought glory to God in their midst.

How did they do it?

They started by making sure Jesus was in His proper place--in the center of their lives.

It doesn't work when He is on the outside looking in.

Or on the sidelines attempting to get a seat in your life.

Or as an accessory to your day.

Or trying to access a timeslot in your busy schedule.

Or in a separate vehicle attempting to chase you down the road of life.

Or in the pew at church while you are still at home in bed, or at the golf course or spending family time in the yard.

It's when He is in the center of your life He will always receive the praise He has coming to Him.
