END OF HARVEST
Today's reading: Galatians 4-6

"But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control..." Galatians 5:22-23 NLT

The farmers in our area are wrapping up a tiring harvest season.

They are finishing up fields, cleaning up combines, doing end of the year maintenance on tractors and preparing for a much needed rest before planting season arrives in just a few short months.

They are gauging their success by the truckloads of corn and beans that they have been able to haul off, sell and store in their barns and silos. Tangible results of their hard work.

It's a good reminder for me, and for us, that's it's also a good time for us to take a quick stock on our Christian harvest, ...

Are we producing fruit that is godly?

Checked your relationships lately?

Our conversations?

Our work ethics?

Our dependability?

Our levels of self-control?

What are we known for?
