DO YOU FINALLY BELIEVE?
Today's reading: 1 Kings 1, John 16:23-17:5, Psalm 89:38-52

"Jesus asked, Do you finally believe?" John 16:31 NLT

The disciples had watched blinded eyes be opened.

They had seen thousands fed from a little sack lunch.

They witnessed the seas and winds calm at His request.

They saw entire villages repent and turn to God.

They watched as the Word lived, breathed, touched and loved those around Him.

They, some of them at least, watched as He was transfigured.

They had had their feet washed by their Master.

They had watched as He loved his enemy.

And now, in this Upper Room, with only days left to be with Him, being told about the Comforter He would send...they finally believe?

Any single one of those moments should have 'sealed the deal' with their faith--and yet, they continued to wonder, question, doubt and fear whether or not He would be enough, on time, able.

Like us.

What exactly will it take for us to finally and fully, believe in Him?
