MADE BY GOD
Today's reading: Proverbs 22

"The rich and the poor have this in common: The Lord made them both." Proverbs 22:2 NLT

Can I just share what's running through my head with this verse?

Of course, I can--it's what I do every morning.

The nice and the mean are both made by the Lord.

The neighbor that is friendly and waves as we pass as well as the neighbor who never mows his yard are both made by God.

The friendly customer and the curmudgeon customer are both made by God.

The all-smiles, so-wants-to-please child and the child that tests your patience are both made by God.

The checker that chats and smiles as she rings us your groceries as well as the one who really doesn't acts like she wants to be there as she crams your loaf of bread in the grocery bag are both made by God.

I've got to remember what this verse says.

As I look into the eyes of every person I meet, I need to see my/our Creator.
