TIMES TWO
Today's reading: 2 Kings 1-5

"And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you? Elisha said, Please let a double portion on your spirit be upon me." 2 Kings 2:9 NKJV

Have you been blessed enough to know saints of God of whom you would ask for their 'double portion'? Parents? Grandparents? Aunts? Elderly prayer warriors? Deacons in your church?

Have you known, by watching and being impacted by their lives, that they truly have a relationship with the Lord that you'd like a part of?

Have you seen them stand on a mustard seed of faith and rise above mountains time and time again?

Have you watched as they carried joy in their hearts through the darkest of times?

Have you heard their testimony shouted from the rooftops, not from them but from others touched by them?

Elisha saw enough to want what Elijah had, in duplicate.

May that be the example we live for those watching us!
