DIVIDED
Today's reading: Acts 23-24

"Paul realized that some members of the high council were Sadducees and some were Pharisees, so he shouted, Brothers, I am a Pharisee, as were all my ancestors! And I am on trial because my hope is in the resurrection of the dead! This divided the council--" Acts 23:6-7 NLT

When you speak of the Lord, you will cause divisions.

Sometimes between your self and another believer.

Sometimes between your self and a not-yet believer.

Jesus is a dividing line. You either believe in Him fully, or you don't. You either know Him intimately, or you don't. You either trust Him implicitly, or you don't. You either are washed in His blood, or you aren't. You either are His, or you aren't. You either have Him as your future hope, or you don't.

Paul knew upon which side of Christ he stood--do you?
