INCONVENIENCED
Today's reading:  Exodus 5-8

"So Moses and Aaron left Pharoah, and Moses pleaded with the Lord about the frogs he had sent.  And the Lord did as Moses had promised.  The frogs in the houses, the courtyards and the fields all died."  Exodus 8:12-13 NLT

Pharoah couldn't stand the frogs.

The noise.

The slimy, hopping amphibians everywhere.

Frogs in his bed.  Frogs in his underwear drawer.  Frogs in his soup bowl.

So he begged Moses to pray for deliverance from them.

Little did he know...his calloused heart would take a greater risk with the plagues that followed than any boatload of frogs would bring him.

God inconveniences.

He does it to the lost whose attention He hopes to gain.  He does it to His children when our paths are veering off the highway of holiness.  He does it to bring about wandering eyes and searching hearts.  He does it to remind all of us of Who He really is.
