IN THE AIR
Today's reading:  2 Chronicles 29-32

"Where did all this come from, Hezekiah asked the priests and Levites?  And Azariah the high priest, from the family of Zadok replied, Since the people began bringing their gifts to the Lord's Temple, we have had enough to eat and plenty to spare, for the Lord has blessed his people."  2 Chronicles 31:9-10 NLT

Thanksgiving is in the air.  Less than thirty days.  Cooler temperatures.  The time about to change.  The skies are bluer.  The leaves are falling.  The air smells more autumn-y.

And I read this verse.  My Bible reading plan always has me reading this portion of Scripture at this time of the year.

It reminds me.  It convicts me.  It nudges me in the right direction.  It convinces me that when God's people do what they're called to do, blessings overflow

Am I bringing all of my gifts to the Lord?  Are there some things, talents or thoughts I'm holding back?  Am I withholding something He needs me to share with another?

All I have is from His hands.  All I can do is through His power within me.  All I have to offer is myself.  All I can give is from the bounty He has given to me.

What about you?
