 EVEN THOUGH

Today's reading: Ezra 1-5

"Even though the people were afraid of the local residents, they rebuilt the altar at its old site. Then they immediately began to sacrifice burnt offerings on the altar to the Lord. They did this each morning and evening." Ezra 3:3 NLT

When worshiping the Lord is what your heart leads you to do, you do it--no matter the surroundings you are in.

Even afraid.

Even in enemy territory.

Even if other things needs pushed aside.

Even when the surroundings aren't picture perfect.

Have you ever felt praise rise up so mightily in your soul that where you were became hallowed ground?

Have you ever had to stop everything just to bow in humble adoration of our God and King?

Have you ever been led to stand, completely and silently, in awe of Whose you were?

Even though circumstances weren't ideal.

Even though all your requests had not been answered.

Even though you weren't in a 'church building'.

Even though kind of worship is the most heart felt.
